Saw a news clip on TV tonight.

Lady lost her cell-fone while reaching for something else. It was on her knee, and slipped down an ice fishing hole.

After two earlier tries, a month later - using a water-proof camera and magnet - she managed to spot the camera on bottom, and successfully pull it to the Surface!!

Amazingly, she turned it on, and the beggar actually WORKED!!!

It appeared legit, but we're stunned it lasted a whole month underwater without the seals letting go!!!

Good story.

My grandfather had a similar incident when he was a boy.

He was night fishing and accidentally knocked the lantern overboard.

The next night he was fishing in the same area. He pulled up the lost lantern.

It was still lit!

If you turn off the phone, I'll blow out the light.

Actually, my grandfather was telling a story about shooting 22 crows with one shot. One of his favorite true stories.

The guy listening countered with the lantern story. My grandfather never told the crow story again.

Too bad, he told it well. One of my favorite memories. RIP.
