Quinte Fishing

Hello gents!

Would any of you "anxious as I am fishermen" be able to direct me to anywhere along the Napanee River that I can throw a canoe in.... Looking to get into the sheepshead that are showing up as I am told. Can anyone confirm an area that would work? I understand that there is at least one boat launch that is closed in town at the conservation park, but I don't know of any other water access points. I drive transport and only get through on the main roads when I roll through, so I'm not overly familiar with the area. Cheers! Chris.

the centre st launch is low but open. if you head out the river towards deseronto and hit the holes near rankins corner you will be in the area for sheepshead.
