Went out yesterday afternoon just as the string of mini storm systems blew thru. Wanted to check a couple spots that usually start to hold fish. First thing i noticed was the water had tons of floating alage. It was bad. Casting a crank bait and it would be covered in green şnot each cast. Switched to a jig and plastic and same thing. Moved to another area near by and same thing. Decided to see if the drum were loaded up under the bay bridge and they were but not bitin. Went and fished the mouth of the moira river and caught a few pan fry size walleye. Water temp varied from 50-54. Still pretty cold for this time of year
