Hey gents, has anyone been hooking into the noisy buggers lately? I heard they are around Snake Island but can anyone confirm that they are in any numbers or getting caught under the Belleville bridge at all? Could anyone recommend anywhere else they are hooking into them? Cheers!

I have always done well by the lighthouse near the bridge in Deseronto.
Who knows you may even catch a few walleyes there. The biggest sheephead i caught there is 16 lbs.

Witnessed two whoppers caught this morning in boats next to me. Just a bit up the Napanee River from Mohawk Bay. Also a reasonable frequency of pickerel being caught as well... finally! I only got one eater, but there were boats with 2, 3 and 4 caught. The warming water is waking them up. I also see some lilacs blooming here and there.

Spitfire6 - PM sent

We fished the flats area and ended up with 7 walleye.

Even know they're can be considered a pain when walleye fishing, when they shut down, we headed to a spot I know holds big sheep-head to play around with them for an hour.

They didn't disappoint...caught a bunch in varying sizes with these being the biggest and lost a lot of big ones that we never saw from fighting so hard and pulling out hooks. They were fighting like crazy, almost spooling us and all were caught jigging silver vibratos.
