No surprise there. Its unfortunate as spawning grounds in areas are now high and dry. At least they acknowledged the problem and are trying to remedy it

This commission is ridiculous, I have wrote them twice already.
Last year I seen tons of walleye on my shore, in one night 13!!
This year, barely any thanks to knee deep water.
They can't control the weather, but they control the outflows.
I almost think this is being done as a rebuttal for all the complaints of high water in 2017/2019.

prior to 2014 there was never an issue.

Why can't they keep it somewhat consistent ?

The reason being all the experienced smart old guys have retired.
Now the ones on the job are in the learning stage. I think they are a bit frightened of making a mess again so err on the side of caution.

Plus having a screwed up spring doesn't help.

They increased the outflows on April 10th. Not sure how that will help raise the water levels lol.

Just looking at the latest numbers and the Lake Ontario water levels are starting to go back down.

Some of the northern watershed are low as well.

Just wondering where the water levels are at the moment?
