Hi all!

I’m here on a much needed holiday, and am struggling to find places nearby that are publicly accessible for me to fish from the shore (unfortunately I have not been blessed with a boat). Anywhere in particular that I might have a chance of success? Not particularly fussed on species, something like SM or LM bass, walleye, pike or whatever might be around that isn’t smaller than my middle finger.

Any help is greatly appreciated!

Well if I were in Belleville shore fishing I myself would go to the break wall out by Myers Pier in the evening for walleye then if I could I would fish the pier later in the night. I might also go to West Zwick's and fish for bass, if that was not what I was looking for I would go over the Bay Bridge and fish the column area of the bridge for sheepshead. Just saying what I would do...
Good luck FF

All of what Fry Flier suggested is good Stuff.

More than enough to keep you entertained, and all within a few hundred yards.

Any area around The Bridge is pretty much decent Fishing, and 'relatively' easy to get around with your circumstances, particularly at that time of day/night.

The Smallmouth bass special season is for Zone 20 only.
That is Lake Ontario and the St. Lawrence River.
I don't believe that the BofQ is included (west of the Glenora Ferry run)

I want to thank all of you for your suggestions! I will be going to the long stretch that goes along the bridge at West Zwick today and I’ll update you all on how I go :)

Hopefully this attaches ok, but wanted to share my success! A beautiful Northern Pike, totally unexpected and put up a fight!

Thank you all for your advice, it turned out to be right on the money!

Great, glad you were able to get that Weedbed Pirate. Hope you had fun. Most here will share a bit of info, sometimes it works sometimes not. Here is hoping for continual success, ask and share this is what this BB is all about.
