Just wondering how the walleye bite has been in the Hay Bay Area or within a 15 minute boat ride from Sherman’s. Not looking for particular spots (unless you’re willing to share) or anyone’s honey holes. Just a general bite report. Thanks in advance!!

~~ TIGHT LINES!!

Over 400 views for this topic and only ONE response?! Hmmm. I’m a bit disappointed. Several years ago on this page, you could get answers to questions in just a few hours. Now, not so much. A general question only requires a general response. Like I stated, I’m not looking to move in on anyone’s secret spot or honey hole. I just want to know if the eyes are biting and what you’re doing to get them. Thanks to WALLEYEONE for the tip. Tight lines to all.

With a non specific topic like that you’re going to get a lot of views. That doesn’t mean people have info. I viewed it, haven’t been to Quinte since first week of June though.

Bite was good last weekend. This weekend a different story. Seems like the weather shut them down. Still managed a couple trolling. Hopefully when the weather goes back to normal, the bite will get better.

Its been a slow week, we fished hard every day and mostly 1 here and there. Not typical for sure. Never got a limit once.

Hello made it out on the weekend. Friday night went for a cruise and played around on the new electronics found big bait clusters of shad with lots of walleye. Managed to get out on Saturday for a fish found walleye again but not takers tried many different set ups with no results. Hopefully this weekend will be better with constant warm temperatures. Walleye in the bay go very negative on these strong wind colder days unless you can find them shallow which I could not.

Fished Sunday over by the Old Church, marked a lot of fish in 19-21 feet, but no takers.

Tried a bit at Kingscourt but wind picked up and no fun trolling up wind, hit one 12 incher.

For a long weekend there sure weren't many boats out

Perhaps a reason for views but no replies, as there never seems like a lot of fishers out.

Fished at Mallory on Tuesday and landed a 19 & a 20 incher, the 19 was FAT, over 3 lbs, on a Superdad Silver Swinger.

Chalk it up to a seriously WEIRD Summer Season.

Haven't seen a boat fish the upper n/w corner of The Bay in over a week.

Matter of fact, haven't seen MANY boats period, up here for days and days... until this afternoon.

Somebody musta unlocked the Gates! Tons of 'em today, on arguably the Best Day of The Summer.
