Hi guys,

My brother and I regularly come up and fish Hay Bay every spring. One thing we have really never done is a fall trip to the bay. Can anyone let me know when the best time to come for a fall fish would be?

Is Hay Bay still a good spot in the fall? We are more into numbers than size (but big fish are welcome of course) and don't worry, everything goes back over the side.

Thanks folks!
Scott

How late in the fall are you planning??

The November bite we used to see has disappeared in the last five years, almost no big fish getting ready to winter in Hay Bay.

There will be fish, the resident population are there but the fishing has been tough.
