Quinte Fishing

Spent a beauty day fishing the river for smallies. Low wind and warm temps made it nice to be on the water but would of been nicer had the fish been there. Hit a dozen spots and only 2 fish to show for it. One at 4.75 and the other a 3 lber. I did set a new PB(that i can remember) on a drum at 16.22lbs. What a hoot that was on 6lb line on a drop shot. That thing was like a run away freight train. There were a lot of boats out trolling and casting for muskies and didnt see any one hooked up. Hoping the winds will layoff on the weekend in the big lake to go look for some eyes.

That’s a good day but not for the River. I think I may go to the river Friday and see what I can find. Thanks for the post Dan
