Got out again this morning for a few hours and decided to take my son out as well.

Water temp still holding pretty steady, hasn't dropped very much the past few weeks at all. It's about 61 degrees.

I've had good outings the past few times out and this morning ended up pretty good. We ended up getting 15 in the boat. Lost a couple others and just couldn't connect on a number of other hits. My son was pretty happy being out.

Although I didn't catch as many as the previous week, I think the bite is really coming on. Quite a few fish today would hit the bait, not get hooked, and hit it again. One pike I had hit the bait 4 times before I finally got a hook into it. Previous weeks I wasn't getting that.

Landed two decent fish - 35 inches and 33 inches. So probably a little over and a little under that 10lb mark.

Here is a picture of the first one of the morning that my son got.

I'm in a black lund rebel. I fish mornings typically - but if you see me out there - come over and say hi! I'd love to meet you out there.

15 pike and the boat is not a bad day at all. Well done. The young lad looks pretty happy holding up that fish. Thanks for a great report.
