I never see anyone mention the Church ramp lately. Is it usable? I will be launching a 18 ft Lund by myself.

Thanks!!

Church ramp is workable however the dock has been taken out I have been launching my 17.5 with no issues heavy winds could make it tricky.

Thanks.
Ya, I am worried about the wind. Although I was thinking that the church ramp would be my safest bet for that. And it is the only one that I have used before but that was in the summer with the dock. I plan on getting my feet wet. If it wasn't calling for a west wind I would try finkles.

I don’t find Finkles bad In straight west wind, just when there is more south in it. Everyone will be trying to find a spot to hide this weekend it seems.

Thanks BIGMAC. Good to know. I work all weekend so was planning on going out tomorrow. Again I will be solo. I was also thinking the church because I might just try around Glenn Island area for pike. Not really sure about trolling for the eyes this time of the year. Pretty new to fishing the BOQ actually. Had good luck casting for them in August. Coming from Kingston so maybe I will drive by Finkles and decide if I keep going. I really hope the sun is out. I need a day of sun and fishing sooooo badly.
