Finally!!

What a great day. I got my other downrigger working and went out into the lake farther this time. I tried 40 FOW for about an hour and a half and then decided to go deeper again. I am thinking that as others have mentioned that my boat is pushing the fish off to the sides when I am trying to fish shallow. I set the riggers a 50 ft and then the catchin started in 70-80 FOW. And I had that double headed that Bobv75 warned me about. Awesome day. Caught 10 in two hours with the biggest being 13 lbs. And a one point it was actually warm out there. Headed in when the SE wind picked up as I have to load up by myself. Also no pics because I am by myself. I tried but was kinda a fail.
I just wanted to thanks all for the tips and advice. Sure paid off!!! Blood all over the boat. :lol:

Great job. If you have a Lund I past you as you were packing up. Was a great afternoon out there.

Yes that was me. I know they were still biting but figured being by myself I should head in.....as I watched you guys grabbin for the net.

Double header alone. Lol been there done that on the walleye but not on lakers. That must of been fun. Great report thanks for the share

Congratulations, Glad you found a few. I guess it is pretty challenging to take a few photos holding up fish when you are by yourself. Thanks for the report!
