Fished Fri after work in a different area than I had been fishing with Turk. Ended up with 4 but all small ones. Saturday afternoon back out to pt anne and like Turk said the screen lit up between 5 -5:30. Lots of fun, got 5 and even while unhooking fish the screen was still loaded. You couldnt get the bait down fast enough. Sunday morning the plan was to sleep in and spend time getting the sled ready but when I found myself awake at 5AM ditched that plan and went fishing. Landed 7 but again everything about 3 lbs, lots of action on the flasher. Was home by 10:00 finished up some honey do items and working on the sled so I went back out for the late afternoon bite but Id bet no one caught a fish Sunday aft. The fish weren't moving and i heard the same from a number of buddies just crickets. The ice in big bay was 7-8"

Surprised about Sunday evening. I guess the front coming in had something to do with it. We did get a bit of snow !!

I went crappie fishing on a back lake Sunday evening and didn't have a bite as well. I was wondering if it was the storm coming that had something to do with it. I can stop kicking myself now for not going to the bay instead.
