Got up at 2:30am and headed to Quinte for the day with buddy Roman!Got there just around 6:00 and started fishing for some Bass and pike action. The bite was really on the slow side and had to work hard for the few active ones?Hit all my spots with limited success and decided to try for some walleyes around thompsons point and glad we did,got our limit.Biggest was around 5lb.The winds were getting ugly around 40+km as we tried to start heading back to the launch and found it impostible at this time to try and put in on the trailer so we thought we might wait it out while fishing again to kill time?Just as we got at the shallows the main motor would not trim up???what the f***!
It would try and go down but not up"well that made things even worse-you get the point.Anyway I had to get in the water to try and figure out the hydrolic's of the 115 mariner motor and loosen the relief screw while in the water being hit with waves in the mud as it was dropping in temperature(Bad Cold Front).Made it home by 1:30am,yes I am a fishing nut.....................Pauly
p.s I worked on the motor today and found the problem to be the Solinoid for the up position(will change both)
Sorry Ken will hook up next time, nice to see you.Keep that pop on ice!
