Went out West of the Belleville bridge, got out about 2:45. Went out to the channel, about 17’ under the ice. Tried a dead stick with a live minnow on a jig, and jigged various spoons and a jiggin rap. Marked a ton of fish, I assume mostly perch. They were following the lures, and they liked aggressive jigging. They were reluctant to hit though, and only hit it deadsticked, if they hit at all.

All in all, about a half dozen perch including a nice jumbo, and small walleye, about 12”. Walleye hit a dead sticked glow perch flutter buckshot. Hit while I was working on something else at 4:55.

Had one big mark follow my spoon up and down for about 10 min, staring at it but not hitting. Didn’t want the minnow on a jig either.

Stopped marking anything about 5:25 or so.
