Decided to change it up and headed laker fishing with board member Hans. We met at 7 and were setting up on the ice about 7:30. With all the melt and rain the current was up and also some color to the water. No snow on top. Not long after had a good mark on the screen but the fish was not following and moved on quickly. Hans had the same result and it seemed like it might be one of those days where the fish just weren't in the mood to chase. A few marks later finally had a fish chase and it was pretty hot and thought for sure it would bite. Finally Hans got things going and landed a fish around 7-8lbs. The fish were movings. On the first fish I was hooked up on took the bait at the hole , I watched it bite through the hole, then made several runs right to the bottom. When trying to get its head through the hole the line broke. It was a good fish. Hans landed a couple more then my turn to finally put one on the ice and it was a good one weighing 15.54. At one point we had a double header but mine came unbuttoned. Hans went 4 for 6 and I went 1for 4. It was a fun day on the ice and always enjoy the battle, as Hans said at one point "it never gets old". How true.

Nice man! Always a great day when you're catching Lakers through the ice. Best video game on earth! Thanks for sharing.

Hey Dan it was nice getting out again!

Thank god I didn't mess up that 15 pounder like I did your first fish lol! I'm sure you would have burnt down my hut!!

Tight lines!
Hans.
