Went to huffs for the afternoon fish. Had a couple of bite's but no fish. They were more hard chargers, but couldn't get them to commit . Had one looking for 4 minutes. That's a lot of jiggling. LOL. Ice condition's were 8 in at 29 ft, slightly left of launch. Snow is not deep but still hard walking. Had a smitty , so no hard pulling.. Quads were out as well as ski doo's. In all, still had fun.

lol

Thanks for the report Joe - was hoping for an update from you. I was going to ask on one of your earlier threads what the conditions were like now.

I’ll be out there tomorrow with the young lad - green Woods pop-up if anyone else is out!

Hey guys, first and for most you guys kick ass with all the info/ questions and answers. Very nice to see that some of us still like to help out :)
My question is, where is this farmers field that we can park in at huffs? Planning on coming out to quinte tomorrow from Hamilton and would like to get out at huffs, been there quite a few years back but therr was no parking at the time.

Anyone have any luck at huffs Saturday? Was set up in about 25', marked a ton of fish and they seemed to be very active, they'd chase the bait up like it was the last bit of food ever and then when they're right at the bait........ stop and no bite. All in all a lot of teasing with a whole bunch of cursing at the fish lol still good to be out though
