Multiple fish huts were broken into on Crowe lake Tuesday night Feb1st between 7PM and 6AM.
Please be on the lookout for any deals on heaters augers etc. We need to stop this stuff from happening.
Please Pm me with any info Thanks Skeet

well you know how you stop that you don't leave anything in your shack to steal... The same as you guys that complain that your vehicle got broken into and you left 500 dollars worth of equipment in your vehicle in plain view ....seriously!!

Unfortunately this has been going on forever and will never stop. Back in the day I had permanent huts on both Simcoe and Scugog. Always with big windows to clearly see the hut is empty. I took everything including the instant coffee home with me. I still had my lock broken off so many times that I eventually just left it unlocked with a sign that read, "if you use it leave it as you found it".

Well, at least it was only broken into and maybe some theft to boot. Back in the eighties, I had my permie stolen off of the BOQ from the Potters Creek area. A few years later it was found broken up on some iffy ice east of Pt. Anne by the MNR with a cardboard fake hut number over my hut number. MNR from Napanee called me to go retrieve it since we were past the end of season date for huts on the bay, explained that the hut went missing a few years before as a theft. MNR stated that if I retrieved it that they would waive the fine. Off to retrieve the hut I went, the bottom of the hut was frozen into the ice. Had to be taken off the ice in pieces. Since then it has been hubs and tents.
