Went to Bayview for a few days with my wife and 2 kids (age 4 and 5).
Had a great time. Caught 26 walleye. 14 released because they were under 14 inches. My daughter hooked and landed a 10.1 lb sheephead. It took us 15 minutes and fought like the 15 lb chinook I hooked in the spring in LO. We had our best luck trolling quick (2.1 mph) in 15 feet of water with yellow or green, both wormharnesses and crankbaits worked. Our success came out 200 yrds between Ram island and Perfect Vue. I also hooked a 3 1/2 lb largemouth using a 4 inch popper around Ram Island.
Thanks to Ken for the help getting a new prop, reason, well thats another story. Kids are going up tomorrow with Grandma and Grandpa.

Hey Glenn,

glad I could help. I went back and got the proper prop and WHAT A DIFFERENCE! Picked up about 7-8 mph! Saw your dad's new motor and all I can say is WOOOO SON (in the words of Roland Martin). When are you up next?

I was up Monday to pick up the kids from the trailer. I couldn't resist getting out. We hooked 2 walleyes, 15 and 16 inches. We are planning on getting up there in late August. I'm going to be hitting Buckhorn and Lake Erie over the next few weeks.
