Was out with a friend from Montreal on both days. We fished the Old Church Weed line / Shermans Pt / the inner cove at Thompsons / Mallory Bay & Ram Is.

Saturday, we hit two small eyes at Shermans in the morning and one small one Saturday evening at the Old Church area.

Sunday, we hit a small one near the old church, over at Mallory Bay didn't mark any fish, but was able to assist a couple of gentlemen whose 'O' ring was broken in the fuel line with a tow over to the marina near the Glenora ferry. It would have been a long row over.

Montreal Bob got a nice 18 1/2 inch eye in the Old CHurch weeds on a Uzick Spinner and Power Worm. We fished Sunday evening in the wind and didn't get a hit.

Others were more lucky this weekend, one of the campers caught a 30" northern ( 9 1/2 lbs) at Shermans PT in deep water and another campers father caught the biggest walleye of his life 9 1/2 lbs. It's gonna be a wallhanger. He caught it in the Old Church weeds..........on a Uzick spinner knockoff. He was a happy camper, couldn't get the smile off is face.

Didn't see any other fish being caught as there weren't a lot of fishing traffic this past weekend.

The water in Hay Bay was ove 72 degs F and down by the Glenora ferry it was 69 degs F.

The fish are there but they aren't cooperating like they were two-three weeks ago. It's gotta get better.

Stay Tuned - Back out next weekend.

Didn't make it down this weekend, but couple of buds did they ended up with 9 fish 4 under 19", all on ugly ducks, flatlined behind the boat at a very fast troll 2-2.5mph on weed edges from fosters and down long reach.
