I’ve only fished point Anne a few times and was wondering about a few spots/ ice conditions. Looking at navionics, any idea about ice conditions around the red buoy near trident point? (I’ve never fished that area) or the red buoy closer to massassuga point. I’m thinking those are higher current areas that may not be safe given the recent weather. But thought I’d ask. I have an ATV for mobility

Thanks

Jerry

Hi Jerry I was out there just before the rain and the ice was over a foot. I didnt go all the way to the red can at trident or the red can at minnie blakley but anywhere between those 2 should be good to go. Watch for any pressure cracks and as you know, follow ice safety precautions and check it often
