Looking for gar

Thought I'd try some gar fishing this year. Where's a general area to target these toothy critters.

I often see them during summer time at the very east end of Hay Bay.

Deseronto, north shore towards Mohawk Bay is also a good spot.

Napanee river first couple of weeks of walleye season near the hydro lines, they are stacked up in there

Yes it is and head for the flats where the river and creeks come into the Bay, just saying. Marysville Creek and Sucker sound good to me.
