Pickerel - I had simply my worst winter yet, but what a Spring !! Four trips to Deseronto with 4 different partners. Got 4 on the tough opening, then a slow day of 2. But in the past week, limits of 17"-19"ers, with easily over 15 fish each day. Feels good to take guys out who don't fish a lot and have success. Then the past 2 nights back to my usual pattern Dan....out from Peat's Point at dusk for an hour. First night got two 18"ers casting tail dancer Herkimer area. Then last night casting points, got 4, with 2 of 19". This time on thumper jigs & leaches, bouncing on bottom. I'm sure they're still in the Deseronto area, but definitely not up the river. Always just eaters there...which is what I'm after.
