Does anyone one know why the Coast Guard boat is anchored in Mohawk bay? They had their lights on at 630 this morning and turned them off soon after that but then the rain rolled in and it was so misty out that you couldn't see them anymore. Kind of dangerous I thought

Curious too. It’s been there since Monday I believe or Tuesday just anchored

The ship is the CCG Griffon. She is a classed as a light duty ice breaker and is stationed in the Great Lakes. She also performs regular buoy maintenance. She is a regular visitor to this area.
