Just an FYI. there is a big log in the Wellington channel after rounding the bend from west lake to the channel. Stay a bit tighter the dock.
Did manage to go 5 for 6 today.

Where do you launch in West Lake? I want to bring my boat down but heard the main launch in Wellington is closed.

You can launch at the Beach St launch prior to 8am and after 4:30pm.

The County has also gotten access just a little East of Wellington beside the Ceramet Factory.

One of the Cottage/Trailer spots a touch further east also has a sign for a launch. Think it's Bass Cove Lane... not 100% on that. It's just past Conley Rd.

Is it not 9am you have to launch before?

Might be.

I've seen County employees on site shortly after 8am on Saturday s.

You could absolutely be correct

Just checked out the ceramet site. I thought I read that PEC was putting 30 000 dollars into that site.

Well... all fresh gravel, leveled nicely, cut grass, real nice platform from shore to dock and a new sign basically saying Private Property.

Be interesting to know if taxpayers money fixed that up and then the property was "closed"

The camp with a ramp I mentioned earlier in the other post is on McKnight L not Bass L

Nothing in PEC would surprise me. I have heard nothing lately about being able to use this launch.
