Finally was able to get away from work and get out fishing with a buddy to target some pike. He doesn't get to go fishing very often so I was hoping that we would have a good day out in lake ontario.

It's great to be able to take people fishing who don't get to do it a lot, because they appreciate and get excited for every fish a little more than I do.

I don't know what it is with those pike, we casted big crankbaits, jerkbaits, bulldawgs, but man, it seems like spoons or bust for us. Those pike love big spoons.
Anyways - fished from 7-11. We boated 27 pike. No real size to any of them unfortunately. Biggest was 34 inches.

Water temp was around 53 degrees

It's a good thing you got your tackle box back so you can throw one lure all day :D

Should I not go out tomorrow and let it rest a day? That's a good day for four hours.
