Went out today, high winds 27 to 30 km and big waves. Launch off finkles, good to go. Didnt get anything but was nice to get out. Winds calm down to 14 km, better to control boat and planer boards. Next time out will be in Nov.

I worked picton bay to the ferry from 715am-230pm. One rip that didn’t stick, one sheep, lost a big eye. Lots of boats hiding from the wind at the ferry.

Temp 54

Good morning All,

Are there any updates for the big girls coming in yet?
I want to take a few days off work but waiting for the fish to come in first.

Thank you and I appreciate any information

I fished the reach yesterday morning, there were lots of fish on the screen but they all had lock jaw. Hook onto one that came unbuttoned Moved to Picton bay and fished to Sherman’s. Lots of action on the screen. But no takers. It seemed like everyone was fishing that area but I saw now evidence of fish being caught. Waiting for frost to melt off my boat and back at it today. Conditions were perfect. Catching not so good

Cheers
Steve
