* most of the the late autumn fishing takes place between Sherman's Point and Bath * majority of folks are trolling bodybaits...either deep divers...or snap weights or lead-core in front of shallow runners...20 to 30 ft is usually the depth you're trying to achieve * in-line planer boards generally help put more fish in the boat * popular lures are Reef Runners, Rapala TailDancers, DD Husky Jerks, Bandits, etc...purple is often a hot colour...but experiment..don't be afraid to get crazy with colour * 1.8 to 2.2 mph is usually where you want to be...but more importantly dial in the speed that gives your lure maximum action * you can fish 2 lines per person if you're east of the Glenora ferry * bring a shovel and a bag of salt (or traction aids)...the ramps can get icey * be respectful of other folks on the water...it can get busy * carefully release the big girls so we can all continue to enjoy this fishery in years to come
It's that simple...
