Quinte Fishing

Up from the States for annual trip July 16-23 to fish Big Bay/Hungary bay all week. Caught over 50 walleye unfortunately, only 6 fish over 17 inches. Only kept those 6 fish. Even though the slot was lifted, hopefully a minimum size limit of 15 inches or 17 inches would be installed. At the place we stayed we saw many many fish fileted that were under 15 inches. I understand people want fish because they paid for a license but there is no meat on fish that small. Unless Quinte wants to become like Lake Erie in the the 1990's (no fish) I hope a minimum size limit comes about.
