Finally!!
It was a breezy day with wind gusts up to 50 km /hr. It rained a bit in the morning so we slept in, ate breakfast relaxed at the cabin for a bit before heading out about noon for a few hours of fishing.
I thought it would be pretty rough in Adolphus Reach because of the wind direction so I opted to fish between Thompson's Point and Sherman's Point. It was still a little choppy when the wind was gusting but I am glad we went.
Picked up one fish weighing in at 9 lb 8 oz and measuring 28 inches. We caught this one the good old Reef Runner Gold Shiner 800 series with no snap weight. Trolling at 1.7 mph.
That's it for this season. The boat is going into the Barn on Saturday!
Tight lines and see ya next year!
