First Laker Trip

Took a week to get the weather and work to cooperate enough to get out.
Was a beautiful afternoon on the water. Lots of trout with few big pike mixed in.
I have never seen fatter pike,

32 inchers tipped the scales at 12 pounds.

FINALLY !! I've been waiting since the 1st to see some laker action. I do know the winds have been an issue. Great to see...and CONGRATS !!

Nice catching and great pictures. Glad you got out and it's always nice to see a post from you here. That pike sure is a fatty!
You did tell me that it gets even better as the temperatures drop. Congratulations on a great day of catching.
