skim of ice from Belleville to trenton

Woke up to-13. While driving to work the bay is skimmed over with ice. Hoping for cold weather so we can all get out there ice fishing.

Stopped at the potters parking lot for a quick pic.

Of course it has to be said. Potters will soon be on fire. Funny thing about Potters. I have not fished there in 10 years. Mainly because there are so many better spots. It can be the first spot on the bay with almost safe ice. The first time I ever fished there was early ice about 15 years ago. I got my limit in an hour. Every other time I went I was lucky if I caught one or two. Never any big fish. BATMAN

I haven't fished there in years either however, a once very prominent guide service took me out and they launched out of potters. Fish move through the whole system
