I just got livescope and made it out on the ice for the first time to try it out. It really was a lot of fun "scouting" from the hole and seeing fish around you.
But I noticed the cable is stiff and the pole had pressure from the cable on it while turning. When I released the pole, it would slowly rotate back to where the cable wanted to keep it.
I'm thinking to make a loop in the cable to keep it slack and add a thumb screw between the pole and base to lock it in place when needed.
Has anyone found a good way to keep pressure from the cable off the pole while turning and make it stay pointed in the direction you want?
