Anybody out there know if the mouth in Trenton is still open? Was going to try to get the boat in one more time. Thanks.

This is my first post, been trying to follow along on here for a few years but had trouble keeping up with an old phone and computer. I've since updated my phone and pc so hopefully I will be on here a little this ice season.

Hey there, I am looking to try and make it up and ice fish the Trenton area around the mouth when there is safe enough ice to do so. Just wanted to ask if there is anything to watch out for or avoid when out there? I understand the current runs through the mouth of the river, do folks usually fish right at the mouth or just outside of it?

Fishing the Mouth of any water can be tricky, I have seen people fish the mouth the river and more out into the BOQ. Do yourself a favour and bring your safety gear, spud, pics, floater suit if you have one.
