We had a cottage rented there for last few days. Day one we got setup out near Sherman’s point in middle of the bay around 10 am. We picked up six walleye and some nice perch on day one. Nothing big all good eaters. Day two we landed 4 walleye and some nice jumbos. 2 of the walleye were 8-10 inches (obviously released to get bigger) and the other two were 2 pounders. Went out today for a couple hours and lot of nice marks but could not get one to take between us all! Marked some decent fish in past couple days but tough bite. We got enough for a good fish fry and take a little home as well. Ice was mostly between 6-10 inches everywhere we went. One of the guys tried around the corner at Sherman’s and was on 3.5 inches not far from shore. So in the channel there I’d be careful for sure. In the bay there was machines out and ice was good where we were.
