The bite was tough for me. Friday jumped around to 3 very different areas and only can up with one fish about 4 lbs that came on a green pimple style bait. I was prefishing for the Tackle Depot "Wicked Walleye Challenge" ,a hourly 1st 2nd 3rd biggest fish format. When i woke on saturday at 4 am looking at -31 I definitely thought about letting them keep the 50 bucks and going back to sleep. It turns out it was a decent day. Iced 3 fish with 2 of them taking 3rd place. It was a well run event with tables full of draw prizes, good lunch and nice to catch up with some folks I haven't seen in person in a long time. Its a great format and over 200 Anglers came out. I hope they run it again. All the fish came on a medium pimple style bait. Full field results can be seen here
