With the weather warming up today...and a nice warm day being called for tomorrow...I plan to go for a bit of an exploration and see if I will be able to get my boat in anywhere that will set me up for Lakers.

I will post what I discover.

There were people ice fishing there this morning. Wind pushed them offshore. They were lucky to get off

Finkles is iced in. The channel is mostly open but today there was a solid band cutting off the gap from Finkles. Lots of slabs moving around.

With large swaths of ice floating around, you might get out but not get back. A couple of more days should make a big difference.

I was there as well yesterday around 12:30 we must off past each other Roblin. Would have been nice to chat again. Just pack ice that east winds have blown in on north shoreline with like Roblin said some chunks further out. I am hoping to be out this coming Monday if the weather holds. I’ll post if I do. Did hit the Ganny on Monday and Tuesday and it was a smash fest with lots of fish caught. Sorry I can’t post pics or I would have both Finkles and the Ganny. Sorry old school boy! Lol
