The ice is slowly leaving. The Bay and Lake Ontario wide open. Coast Guard boat is back in Kingston.

Yes it often appears green once the water is cold as it’s clear and much shallower than Lake Ontario but filled with stirred up mud from the rivers. You can usually see this follow the south shore of Lake Ontario, across as far as New York, from Niagara Falls.
