Myself and 3 friends arrived at Ashton Park Estates around 2pm Monday. We quickly unloaded our gear and groceries had our first beer and were on the water soon after. Over the next 3 and a half days we searched hard but struggled to find walleye. We tried the channel betweeh the bay and Ram Island and the west side Ram island and managed a couple there nut for the most part we fished the far east end of the bay. In total between 4 guys we caught maybe 12 walleye. The incidental fishing was far better as we caught lots of pike, bass and crappie. I got PB of all 3 of this species. Lots of perch too some good size. Many very small. Didn't get as far as Thompsons Point unfortunately.

Thanks for the report. My buddies in Hay bay have told me the bite has been tough of late since the shad are in. Typical June stuff. A couple of them have honed in on a jig bite in the weeds.
