Outboard Service

I have a 8hp Evinrude ouboard that needs some minor service (likely the carb or fuel pump). JP marine no longer services evinrude and I am trying to stay away from the large marine places if possible. Any small business marine repair that anyone is aware of? TIA!

Check out Matt at Trophy Power Sports. He's working out of his garage in Foxboro while he waits to move into his new shop. He works on quads/atvs but also services a lot of smaller 2 stroke/4 stroke outboards and may be able to help you out.

Lol they no longer service evinrude? Guess they enjoy losing business. Its not as if the motors are gonna disappear overnight after they stopped making them. Smarts marina in cloyne has worked on my evinrude several times and has always solved any issue.

Sorry, but JP Marine should be ashamed of themselves. An 8 HP Evinrude is a typical small engine. Nothing too complicated about such an engine. Parts would be still readily available. BATMAN

James at Smarts is a top notch Evenrude guy. My motors will never see another mechanic should i have the misfortune to need one
