Not to sure if anything like this exists but I will give it a try. Dose anyone know of some kind of spray or cream that you can put on your rod that cleans it, and or protects it. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I know some of the more expensive rods manufracturers sell a rod wax. Not sure about cleaners.

An alcohol based product should work well[rubbing alcohol]. It would take off any caked on material....Larry

Simple dish washing detergent and water will do the job. Polish the rod with Simoniz. Your rods will look great if the finish is not badly worn.

I use WD-40 or silicon spray. Both will work. the WD-40 will clean a very dirty rod and the silicon with shine and protect it.
