Quinte Fishing

Lot's of boats of boats on Adolphus today. Kept thinking of that scene from Jaws where everyone is after the shark.
I was in the loop following the line of boats. A boat load, dragging about 6 planers crossed the loop. I had one line out and buddy crossed about 30ft behind my planer.
Anyway, buddy caught my line. I'm reeling and reversing trying to keep up and yelling at him to stop.
He stopped and I reeled up three of his lines. One of them had about a n 8 lbs walleye.
Four trips out and that's the first walleye I've caught.
Now, I'm holding the line with the fish so it doesn't go slack.
Buddy turned around to get his fish, crossing all of his lines that were still out.
He got close enough I dropped the fish in his net.
All in all, good day for me.
Got my lure back, held a nice fish, met some guys and didn't get tangled.

Sounds like the old days with everyone piled in around the high shore near the Fisheries Station, where you could find 40 boats with planer boards, it was wild.
