Quinte Fishing

I haven't seen any fishing report on here for a while so I thought I type one out myself.

On Saturday, October 21st and Sunday, October 22nd a couple friends and I Launched at Waupoos early each morning. We trolled 4 lines on Saturday because we forgot 2 rod holders back at the house. Sunday we remember the rod holders but had 4 left planer boards and two rights so we fished 5 lines on Sunday.

The temperature wasn't bad both days but it did rain lightly most of the day Sunday. We kept dry under the camper top. It was a little breezy and choppy out from the shoreline.

We pulled all crank baits behind the planer boards. Husky Jerks, Flickers, Reef runners and WNC reapers. The hot colours were purple and Gold. The best producing lures were the Husky Jerks.

We caught 9 pike on Saturday and 8 pike on Sunday. The Largest Pike was a whopping 18 pounds 9 ounces.

It was great fun hanging out together for a few hours and catching a bunch of pike. Pictures below.
