Ice is up and down the snow gets blown around. Not sure what the weather has in store but it is not as predictable as we(I) would like. That being said I am waiting to get out on the ice but that is not until the weekend at the earliest. Temperatures on the climb to the pluses for the next 3-4 and the weight of the snow is not what we want.

Here I think I will play with getting my softwater baits back to inventory.

Painting my own baits Dan. Started powder coating my metal about three years ago. This year I thought I would paint and repaint my own, plastic and wood as well. The Airbrush method is new to me this year. Not that artistic yet just learning, about 2 maybe 3 weeks in.

A bit of combined mix of Powder Coat base and airbrush final

The final finish is not that great yet but these are mine and the grandchildren's (10 yrs. and 18 yrs. old). Have to get a bit more learning behind me and I think I will transition from rattle can Clear coat to dip finish. $20 dollar rattle can compared to $100 dollar dip.

Just a few more mid and deep trollers to add and we will be set for Spring and summer bass and walleye.
