Anyone know if Finkles ramp is iced in? With the spring weather coming up I am thinking about taking the boat out.
Thanks

There have been a bunch of pictures on the BOQ fishing FB group lately of guys fishing the GAP and I'm guessing they are putting in at Finkles due to the location of some of the posters.
I'll be checking out the one at the County side (Pryners Cove) tonight after work because I'm hoping to get out this weekend with the good winds.

If you get out this weekend good luck!

Sorry about that. I was thinking you were saying that there was a post on this forum and I was looking and saw nothing scratching my head. |Then I reread your first response. I'm using my wife's old "little" phone since mine decided to go for a swim last summer.
Anyways, thanks for the info!!

No worries, those small phones will get ya!

For anyone on the County side, I was out a Pryners cove boat launch after work last night to check it out and it was usable too. No docks obviously and just a bit of ice at the leading edge of the ramp but should be able to get boats in and out no problem.

The weekend looks good for weather so I'll probably be out Sunday with my tinner.

I drove by Finkles this afternoon. The ramp and the whole North Channel are wide open. There were 2 boat trailers in the parking lot.
