Went out for a few hours this morning for some lakers. What a beauty day to be out and a few fish for the bonus. Running snap weights and spoons down 40 over 60-70'. Nothing monsterous 8-9 lbs. Had one break off and a few shakers. Good day to knock the rust off

I was out on Monday as well. To early for my smallies spots. Warmest water was 39. We did the run then did the same jigging up a few lakers. Big fish seem scarce this year. Oh well looking at the temps things should start next week for sure. Crazy year already having fished open water every month at least once,
