Quinte Fishing

Anyone go out for Bass recently ? Water temps out by the islands ? Just wondering if they're still deep in their winter haunts or are starting to move shallow. Hope to get out after the storm passes with hopefully some nice weather next week.

I have been out twice most recently on Monday. Lake was 38-39 and warmest bay I found was 40. No fish yet still out deep. I don’t like yanking them up from the depths for obvious reasons. Things with the perch crappie and smallies should start next week. My crappies not spots have been similar with a few small fish outside spawning areas but not on the bite yet and big girls not in yet. This warm cold warm cold weather has stalled things but looking at temps starting Saturday it’s going to get good quick!
