Hey all just wondering if anyone has explored this park and its lakes and can give me any idea what to expect? Googoe has little to no info and Im looking to plan a weekend kayak trip there this summer. Hoping anyone can give info about what fish are found in these lakes (ive heard bass and pike but hoping for a shot at a walleye or other species). Any help appreciated!

i have done day trips there but never camped although there are multiple camp sites on a number of the lakes. I caught lots of bass pike and panfish but no walleye. The Bon Echo park staff are also responsible for Puzzle lake, give them a call or email. I spoke to someone there a few years back and they were very help providing me with camping, fishing, hunting and access info for the Puzzle lake park. If I can find any of that info I will post it here, but would still suggest giving them a call things may have changed over the last couple of years especially with access.

Unless there's been some recent changes, the road into Puzzle in unimproved, bad in wet weather, a 4x4 with ground clearance is usually required. If you head in there don't get stuck, help can be a long way off and likely be a farmer with a tractor. Bon Echo staff can bring you up to speed on the road condition.

No place to park on Cty 15. Nice boat launch on Cty 15 at Gull Lake but to access Puzzle Lake you have to drag everything over a substantial rock hill. Hill to look at it, mountain to climb over it.

There's a road off Cty.15 further north but no place to park or turn around. It goes into some private homes.

Happy adventures.
