If I don't have any naps, it's only 3 more sleeps until bass open.

This year, I'll be fishing the Battersea Bass Classic for my first time. Although Dog Lake always kicks my butt, can't wait and looking forward to a fun day with friends.

Hope everyone is as excited and have a great and SAFE opening day.

Cheers,

Paul

Good Luck Paul,
I'll be fishing a 3pm wedding
I've known this young man since he was a kid. Taught him everything I know about bass fishing(not much btw) and he thanks me by booking his wedding on Bass opener an hour north of Ktown.

We had a family rule...no weddings or family events for ANY opening weekends, fishing or hunting. So am very sorry to hear, Dan.

We even held off my Dad's funeral, for me to go to the Bassmaster Classic a few years back and know he'd have been proud and wanted it that way. :-)

The Battersea Bass Classic was very well run and lots of great people fishing it. I'd highly recommend for next year.

We caught lots of fish but not all the right ones.

Since fishing mostly for smallies for the past years, gotta say, my flipping sticks feel very awkward. I need more practice so switched up near the end of the day, for this 5.0 on a drop-shot gulp minnow.
