We will be coming up to Quinte for the long weekend of October. We usually have our annual trip in Sept but this year we decided to push it a bit later. We will be staying at Perfect Vue.

Will it be to early to fish the deeper Water with deep divers(Mann's stretch), or should we stick to Uzick spinners with worm and fish Shermans,Thompson point or Hay Bay region?

From the last few posts fishing looks very slow. Hopefully it will get better with the colder weather.

If some of you guys are around that weekend, stop by and say hi, i'll be in 162 Princecraft with 40hp Evinrude.

Later.

Al

Al,

I would think that trolling crankbaits would be the method of choice for October Fishing in the deeper water.

We're still getting fish with Uzick Spinners along the weed lines and in the weed beds, but that will change with the turnover of the water.

See you on the water in October.

Salut et Bonne chance.

Hey Superdad, thanks for the reply.

Do you think it would worth the try pass the ferry going towards Lac Ontario or it's a tad to early for this spot?
